On Saturday 25th April at @namakmandi.gla we welcome @eletricat for our Meditation Hour. This will be a unique holistic session from the Brazilian dancer, blending high-energy Samba and Afro-Latin rythms with flowing Yoga, belly dance, breathwork, and healing rituals for mind-body-soul connection. A great way to loosen up and get into the mood for @butho_the_warrior set afterwards. Tickets available online at gcfglasgow.com ️

Tickets are available for our next two parties at @namakmandi.gla ️ 25th April we welcome back @butho_the_warrior - Zimbabwe born DJ living in Glasgow.Butho plays all strains of House music: Jazz, Psychedelic Disco, Electronic and African Music. His sets are electric and broad and allow for unique edits to be heard in every set (either done live or pre edited) and are often thought provoking and related to current social injustices.30th May we have founder and resident DJ @sebastian.rodger.s for a special all night long set exploring all corners of dance music and all emotions of the heart and soul.We will have @eletricat and @tonifalconer_ on for the Meditation Hour and @gabormatty on warm up duties for both.Namak Mandi will be providing the food once again - authentic cuisine inspired by the ancient city of Peshawar. Created with passion and served with love.No need to book the meal in advance - just show up and pay on the day. Looking forward to seeing everyone there ️2.30pm - 10pm. @ggaryl_ set from February is now available to listen back to on our Souncloud ️ A few words from Gary below -It‘s real privilege to play at GCF and warm up for Duncan. As always a full vinyl set where I‘ve dug out some old favs that have served me well over the years. I love setting the tone for a night then handing it over, deep, jazzy grooves with a heavy French influence…enjoy ️

Our good friend @albertfg74 has written a few words about his recovery and Good Clean Fun ️ One of the happiest guys on our dance floor - it was great to have him contribute to the blog and to learn all about his recent creative burst since celebrating 1 year sober. Albert has also recorded a guest mix for us which aired recently on @clydebuiltradio and is now available to listen back to on our Soundcloud.
