sunday photo walk - Rider’s Cafe’s last day

Tucked away in the northwest corner of Singapore 🇸🇬 is a food forest🌳 Unlike modern farms, a food forest adopts farming techniques that harnesses nature and reduces its impact on the environment 🍃 I spent my Saturday morning with Evelyn who broke ground on the farm 23 years ago. She shares with me one of the many plants 🌱 grown on the land, a winged bean. It is a plant suited for growing in our harsh tropical environment and through this she advocates for a natural diet from food sources that actually grows in our climate.
