On my way back home, a nice fellow named Randy asked if I wanted some flowers from his garden 🌷
I held his little dog while and chatted, enjoying the scenery while I awaited my clippings 🐶

It was sweet to hit my first film event in the city, as the film industry is such a big part of life for many in Van!
Saw some interesting short films, had lots of laughs, some ice cream & a lil boogie 💃🍦🎶
I really appreciated the self referential humour and just how sweet and supportive the community was to one another 😊

She's going in my office & I can't wait to cozy up with her & drink my coffee each morning to start the day ☕ ❤️

The journey of her acquisition took me up island.
I ferried across the ocean, then cruised north alongside the water during a beautiful stormy sunset.
Once I nabbed her, I broke her in by sleeping under the stars in the U-haul at Elk Falls 🚛 🌙 ✨

Along my way, I managed to sneak in a cheeky trail run🌲 I also had some INCREDIBLE brunch and nabbed a few other goodies 🍳 🍓 🎨
I had so much fun on this last minute solo adventure! It was my first time camping alone (lol) and I'm so glad this babe roped me in for a spontaneous trip 🗺️
