Last week I spent 5 days documenting a relay team from Queens, New York take on The Speed Project. The Speed Project is a race from Los Angeles to Las Vegas totaling 340 miles ran. No Rules. No spectators.
Being able to play the background and observe, I quickly learned that these runners werenāt racing for a finish line but for something much deeper. I learned about their pain, their purpose, and their joy. This allowed me to reflect on my own journey.
You become the sum of the people you surround yourself with and I spent 48 hours in the desert with 12 complete strangers. By the end of our journey I was able to see and takeaway something fascinating from each individual. I am extremely grateful to have experienced The Speed Project. It was an adventure I will never forget. Much love to my brotha Mchenold for bringing me on the squad and Team WEPA for being so welcoming. Till next time āš¼

Grateful to have captured the energy of @mpactmentoringinc NBA camp last week and even more honored to meet the legendary Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf.
A legend not just for the points he put up, but for the principles he stood on.
If you donāt know about āem, read about āem. His story is worth hearing especially in the times we are in.
Much love to @khigotfilmz & @coreypesosproductions for capturing me.
Imagine the legendary @mahmoudar123 shows up to your basketball camp, calls you out during his lecture and cooks you in front of the all the players and all the coachesā¦
That didnāt happen.
But he DID engage the campers in an amazing conversation and demonstration on what it takes to be great.
And he did cook some kids.
