Pick a hotel in a location close to where you plan to explore.
Pick a hotel with breakfast so you can also pack lunch for little one. It was a little random but Harris still ate it all, so that’s a win.
Second nap was delayed because this little one isn’t used to pram napping and just too curious about everything.
Retort toddler meals for dinner. Or go for hotpot (ask for plain boiling water for toddler) or go for Yakiniku.
Pack light and do laundry on your trip.
Prepare different mode of transportation for toddler to switch things up.
Breastfeeding and pumping have been tougher than I imagined but I’m learning, growing, and doing my best every day, for you my son. One feed at a time 🌼
Harris was an angel on his first long-haul flight… my boobs, however, did not get the memo. Clogged mid-air at 35,000 feet. Best believe I shed tears and counted every minute until landing. Grateful beyond words for @emirates amazing cabin crew who helped me through it 🥲
After several doctors told us that IVF was our only chance, you came to us miraculously on your own. Then, at just four weeks in my womb, I had to undergo laparotomy surgery—and once again, you defied the odds and survived.
The second trimester was smooth sailing, and you were thriving.
But when the third trimester arrived, we faced another challenge. I was diagnosed with GDM and losing weight, and I could feel every day that you were small and struggling to grow. I had hoped to avoid interventions during labor, but as you started to lose weight, I was determined to do whatever was necessary to bring you safely into our arms.
And now, you’re finally here with us, and we are completely in love with our little warrior. Our sweet and strong Harris Joseph Rowland made his arrival three weeks early. I am beyond grateful to my body for carrying you these past 8 months, despite all the struggles we encountered along the way. We’re feeling very lucky he chose us to be his mummy and daddy 🤍
