Following last year’s success with Between The Lines 01, this time we made you a limited edition calendar that kinda looks like a magazine and works like a flip book. Each turn of the inside pages combines the same words (pulled from my actual journals) into new daily possibilities.

An immersive portfolio website for a style photographer @hannah_miles_photo
Photographer Hannah Miles made a name for herself as ‘a girl in menswear’, but her portfolio has since grown to encompass a broader range of projects. The new design drops you right into the heart of it all - with an infinite, immersive overview that lets you get lost in the work. Captions pop up on hover, images expand on click. A fixed menu lets you cut to a category of your choice, and a handful of hidden links reward those who find them with bonus content. As for the display typeface layered beneath the imagery, the androgynous Ayer Poster captures the balance of strength and elegance that defines Hannah’s practice.

Known for combining high-end luxury with personalised touches, Jacada Travel needed an elegant yet practical brand that could evolve alongside their business. As part of a long-term partnership, we’re continuously refining the identity and website to meet its elevated positioning.��Evoking the tailored approach that characterises every Jacada trip, the identity brings together hand-drawn illustrations and portraits, a typographic suite of classic serifs and a cursive typeface for accent, and UI flourishes which quietly and confidently exude a sophisticated, unmistakenly human, feel.

A publication to accompany the exhibition Crescent, by artist Shubha Taparia which reimagines and recontextualises urban transformation.
A familiar scaffold structure, shrouded in a translucent polyurethane veil, curves through the gallery’s length. Backlit, it casts an enigmatic interplay of shapes and shadows, evoking a sense of quiet metamorphosis.
The catalogue of artworks is punctuated by essays, set against a muted grey backdrop and accompanied by treated imagery. A subtle shadow detail embellishes the wrap-around cover. The publication is typeset in Monument Grotesk by @abcdinamo

KiNC - A bold new digital home for a culture-shaping agency.
We partnered with KiNC, a London-based communications agency shaping culture at scale, to create a distinctive website that showcases the breadth of their work across sport, fashion, and lifestyle.
KiNC needed a website that could showcase the variety and impact of their work across different mediums. The homepage delivers an immediate sense of their world through a layered mix of imagery and videos in different formats. A flexible case study system gives the team control to present each project in a way that suits the format and story, whether it’s video, photography, or social-first content. The result is a site that feels alive with culture and gives KiNC a platform as versatile and expressive as their work.

Machine Discovery — A resilient identity for a pioneering machine learning innovator
Machine Discovery is a forward-thinking startup leveraging machine learning to accelerate complex computations. As an Oxford University spin-out, the company sought a brand that would capture its ambitious vision for growth. Our task was to position them as “your unwavering partner in innovation” while steering clear of tired AI design tropes, especially given the challenge of translating intricate technical concepts into a clear, visual language.
The solution was right within reach. Machine Discovery’s team, driven by results, naturally visualizes data through graphs and charts. We embraced these familiar, recurring patterns as the foundation of the new visual identity, crafting a dynamic logo and a suite of 3D graphics inspired by waveforms—representing the continuous, adaptive, and automated progress their technology makes possible.
To complement this, we revitalized the industrial-inspired color scheme with a bold splash of teal, perfect for the brand’s digitally focused presence. For typography, we selected Aeonik by CoType, striking a balance between authoritative clarity and modern accessibility.
The final outcome? A brand identity with purpose—delivering a clear, powerful statement about the transformative potential of machine learning.

Between the lines — A bold design for a different kind of branding publication
Brand language studio Opening Line wanted their first publication to make a strong visual impact in order to draw the creative industry’s attention to the topic. From early creative concepts to sourcing the perfect print partner, we collaborated with them to design a distinctive identity for the publication and its launch.
On the cover, a bright green high gloss sheen meets a bold typographic palette. Inside, we commissioned illustrator Olga Prader to bring the publication’s themes to life with her signature wit and playfulness. Spiral binding, tip-in sheets and a pocket-sized format all add up to a highly tactile experience, inviting the reader to engage with the text in a meaningful way.
