This week’s #SundayLaunch features Tarnya Bruce – founder of @_everwild , a floristry studio specialising in wedding flowers, floral preservation and event styling 🌸
EverWild began in 2020 from a small nook under the staircase and has since grown into a space rooted in community, creativity and connection 🤎
Thank you @vicky.mcclure & @jonathanowen71 for entrusting me with the wedding flowers for your special day! 🌸💛
You are stunning, not just as a bride but as a genuinely beautiful human being! I’m sure you know just how much Nottingham love you too!!
It was a privilege to work with you and lovely seeing you again! 😊
Big thanks to @thesarahmanton for getting me involved, Penny @metronomenotts for trusting me in bringing their floral vision to life and of course @floral_media for supplying such beautifully locally grown blooms!
Much love, Tarnya x

What if you stopped trying to choose the “perfect” wedding flowers…and chose something that actually feels a bit more like you instead?
Not everything has to be soft roses and symmetry.
Sometime you want something that little bit different… and that is definitely ok!!
Let me know if I can help you out in any way, if this resonates with you?!x

I don’t know if anyone else has had this thought…
but what do you actually do with a bouquet all day?
You hold it…
then put it down…
then someone hands it back to you again 😅
I’ve had brides tell me recently they don’t want it to feel too formal or even a little awkward
So if you’ve been thinking about something different
(or didn’t even realise you could keep your flowers after the day) just give me a message 🤍

You spend months dreaming about your wedding flowers…
choosing colours, saving inspiration, imagining how they’ll feel in your hands.
And then the day passes and suddenly those flowers feel far too meaningful to throw away.
That’s why I do both.
I create wedding flowers for the day itself…
and preserve them afterwards into artwork you can keep.
From the bouquet you carry
to the piece you keep.
A way to hold onto what would usually fade. 🤍

A lot of people don’t realise I do both…
I create wedding flowers for the day itself… and then preserve them afterwards.
And honestly, I love being part of the whole story… from designing a bouquet, to turning those same flowers into something you’ll keep afterwards.
EverWild was built from a season of very big life changes that made me realise how quickly moments pass.
I think that’s why helping people hold onto them feels really important to me 🤍
Let me know if you have a wedding coming up and wanted help with making the moment last ☺️

I get it… it feels wrong after everything you put into your wedding flowers, not to keep them…
That’s why I press them, so your flowers don’t just disappear after the day.
If you’ve been thinking about bouquet preservation, or maybe it hadn’t come to mind, just drop me a message and we’ll chat it through 🤍

1. No matter your budget you’re always invited and encouraged to come sit and have a cup of tea with me in the studio 💛
In such an online world we live in, I think it’s important to keep that human connection, especially with something so special.
2. I won’t copy another florist’s work, even if you show me a photo you love 🧡
I’ll always ask what it is about that image that speaks to you. The feeling, the colours, the way it sits, etc. I think your flowers should reflect your story and be designed especially for you. Taking inspiration is great, but I wouldn’t want you to miss out on the chance to know your flowers are uniquely yours on the day!!
3. I’ll ask you questions that don’t sound like they’re about flowers 💛
Things like, tell me your story, how you met? How you want the morning to feel? What kind of light and textures you’re drawn to? What you want to remember most?
Because the answers to those questions shape the flowers more than you think.
4. I might politely suggest/steer you away from flowers that might not be right. Even if they’re “on trend.” 🧡
Even if everyone else is having them. I’ll always come back to your story, what’s in season and what’s going to compliment your venue the best.
Most people are grateful to be reminded that trends come and go but these pictures you look back on will be a lot longer lasting and therefore important that you resonate with them in a personal way in years to come too!
5. I care just as much about what happens after the wedding as I do about the day itself. 💛
Most people think floristry ends when the flowers are set down. For me, that’s only part of it. I’m always thinking about what you can keep and what you’ll want to come back to when the days well and truly done. So I’ll often suggest ways to preserve your flowers, not as an extra add but a beautiful way to hold onto the memory!
If this feels like your kind of flowers… come have a cup of tea with me 🤍

One thing I like to share with brides is that your wedding flower budget has the potential to go a lot further than you think and your flowers definitely don’t need to live for just one day.
A few suggestions to make them go further:
- Repurpose ceremony flowers. That aisle meadow or plinth arrangement can move straight to your reception entrance, sweetheart table, or perhaps behind the cake?
- Choose seasonal blooms. Working with UK growers like @floral_media means fresher flowers, lower transport costs, and designs that naturally suit the season.
- Don’t let your bouquet end up in the bin. It can be pressed and turned into a piece of art you keep long after the day is over.
I love seeing flowers through every stage, from collecting them from the flower field, the chaos of studio prep, to the walk down the aisle, then back to the studio and pressed into a frame that lives in someone’s home for years.
If you’re planning your wedding and trying to make your flower budget stretch a little further, I’m always happy to share ideas.
Sometimes it’s not about spending more. Just using what you already have a little more thoughtfully.
