ESSES is a long running Post-Punk band originally from Oakland(CA), that in recent years relocated to Portland(OR). It’s been probably close to a decade since I have seen them last, and now they have pretty killer new members, for this run of shows they have the prolific riff slinger Alaskan Andy S. who also happens to play in Poison Idea, Atriarch & Cryr. The new bassist in the band runs Seventh Rule Recordings, a record label that I happen to own quite a few pieces of their catalog, check them out it’s epic including Atriarch, Buried at Sea, Indian, Eight Bells, Graves At Sea, Thergothon and many other heavy hitting bands. All that to say, Esses currently possesses one hell of a lineup! Their latest record was released by Seeing Red Records, give them a listen along with their discography because they are a solid band!
Se acerca la gira Cono Sur a Chile, que traerá por primera vez a Esses, desde los bosques encantados de Portland EE.UU a los escenarios locales. Junto al susurro del hada oscura, se presentarán los nacionales Antar y IIII, en 5 fechas donde convergerán en una única experiencia 3 bandas que construyen atmósferas inundadas de catarsis, intensidad y búsqueda.
Una cabeza que grita, otra que susurra y otra que gruñe, son el canto del ser tricéfalo que emerge de la caverna, con tres propuestas que son la conjunción para 5 fechas de alquimia y poder, de metal negro, fundido sobre una piedra dorada, ritual y mítica.
