There were times I was questioned for loving darker musicāand plenty of nights where I felt out of sync with what was playing at the club - however always found my way back to it, in my own time. Dark industrial, rock, metal musicā¦ i love it!
Thatās why this space means so much. Finally somewhere that plays the music I love, where I can fully feel at home. Thank you for creating a space where the outcasts feel free ā¤ļøāš„

Sometimes you need a song that hypes you up enough to do something WILD.
Thatās what āLike a Bitchā by Zomboy has always been for me. Itās gotten me through moments where I was scared to take the leapāmentally, emotionally, even physically.
So I would just have to play the song.
For a long time, Iād been imagining what it would be like to combine pole with fire. It felt intimidating.
Eventually, I found the courage to go for it. Realising, I didnāt need anyoneās permission to go after what I wanted.

I wanted to create something that was mine, the idea for a fire bra came to mind when I saw lady gagaās pyro bra she wore for a few live performances and a music video. She is my inspiration, in many ways.

In late 2025, I pushed myself too hard in training and ended up tearing my meniscus, leaving me unable to fully straighten my leg. It was scary, and I had to pull out of two competitions, which left me feeling disappointed and disconnected.
I spent a long time in recovery, mostly stuck at home and unable to do much, which felt really isolatingāand that experience is what inspired this dance piece.
With my mumās support, I was able to have surgery and start healing. It reminded me that setbacks donāt erase the work Iāve put inātheyāre a chance to rest and come back stronger.
Now, Iām excited to return to competing at Pole Club Alexandria on May 8th, 2026.
