#sisters When @choqolateypinky asked if I had asoebi and I said I was not keen on it, she said something along the lines of ‘don’t worry, we will be your unofficial bridesmaids’. See turn up 🥰🥰 Again, my mind was blown when I came out of the hotel and saw them ready and waiting for me 🫣🫣 God, thank you for these human blessings.

How I love museums! I visited the Weston Park Museum and I truly enjoyed the tour. These pictures capture my experience and learnings. Do you know they have a whole room dedicated to the Carribbean community to share their experiences? Loved it. Anyway, see it through my lenses❤️

I've been trying to get into making a few things from scratch. I decided to try making yoghurt (Greek yoghurt specifically). I bought a yoghurt starter powder from Amazon, followed the instruction to the T, after close to 12 hours of incubation, it was still watery (first video). I was so upset that I decided to go read more reviews of it, and realised that people were having same issues. The initial reviews I read were encouraging that's why I bought it. After a few days, I tried again with store bought yoghurt which contained live cultures, I incubated over 12 hours and it turned out great! So excited. If you want the recipe, let me know and I'll upload a video/post about the recipe. P.S: I still drank the first yoghurt, couldn't bring myself to waste it.

I caught the bread making bug and I'm loving it! Few days ago, I made my first one (first video) and it was more of a biscuit-bread 😩😩 But because my mama did not raise a quitter, I took a few tips from the feedback I got, and tried again, and it came out really really nice! Adds "Bread maker" to CV.

It's the bank holiday, what better time to watch/listen to this brilliant new episode of Loud murmurs podcast on YouTube, Spotify or Apple podcast and catch up on the ones you missed. After so many years, it's still difficult for Dums to talk about her first encounter with racism as a child. In this episode, we talked about how colonialism is the invisible cloak of control that is still very much controlling the narrative in the African society at large. Have you ever clocked racism and how did you handle it?

I know you think it sounds cute to say that you don't like drinking water😏, good news is that it doesn't. Taking water is essential, water makes up roughly 60% of the body and is necessary for nearly every system to function properly. It regulates body temperature, lubricates joints, transports oxygen and nutrients to cells, and helps remove waste, preventing dehydration which can cause headaches, fatigue, and poor cognitive function. Find a way to incorporate water into your normal routine. I simplified mine by drinking 500ml every few hours and by the end of the day, I'd have had 5 x 500ml. Have a lovely weekend😊

I made this video in November 2023 and I still said what I said! There were definitely people that were meant to be a hi and bye, but YOU allowed the handshake get past the elbow; God didn't do none of that shit, you did it boo!😂😂 Anyway, me and my opinions😁

It's been a busy day but then the network went down, and the consults reduced. How do you kill time when it's not yet time to go home but you don't have any war (work) left in you? 🫣🫣

Hellurrrrr! Period! I hate dry lips because when it is chapped, it hurts so much. My problem is also finding ones that actually last because I lick my lips 😩 and this means I need something that is safe since it's getting into my system. If you're like me, I highly recommend Our Cherry Bliss lip conditioning treatment. You can also gift it to your loved ones. Find it in bio🥰

I do this all the time with my sunscreen, which is the last step of my daytime routine. I add about three drops of the Farmed Beauty's Superseed Face oil to my sunscreen and then apply to my face, ears and neck. I love the feel and the glow after. It saves me some time because I have to go to work😁 P.S: it does not reduce the effectiveness of your sunscreen. Will you try this?

#doublecleansing #oilcleansing The one thing that has changed the game for me is adding this method to my routine. Have you ever used an oil cleanser? If no, would you like to try one?
