Elevation Project is more than a tattoo studio. Weâre a teaching studio with a robust apprenticeship program and a fine art gallery featuring local established and emerging artists. We participate in @capitolhillartwalk on second Thursdays, featuring a new exhibition or event each month.

We also host community and artist-led events like cocktail socials for charity, figure drawing, craft days, and markets. Makaelaâs work is vibrant, surreal, and deeply personal blending the feeling of a rural childhood with Seattle nightlife. Her work invites viewers into worlds filled with anthropomorphic creatures, layered textures, and familiar emotions inspired by pop-surrealism, wildlife, fashion, and candid human connection.
Fabric, found materials, embroidery, and illustration captures fleeting moments of joy, chaos, warmth, and self-expression creating spaces where viewers can see parts of themselves reflected back.â¨â¨

Valeria is a muralist and visual artist with over a decade of experience with works across painting, illustration, printmaking, and more. Since moving to Seattle, her love of murals has grown into a practice rooted in collaboration and storytellingâcreating work that reflects the voices, identities, and experiences of the communities around her.
