Both artists are 2024 graduates from Clermont-Ferrand art school.
@eol.x__ is a drag artist who incarnates monsters, he works with sounds, videos and costumes.
@_eldaire currently has a studio in Les Ateliers Clermont-Ferrand, they work with oil paint, textiles and texts. They find in their personal practices that they belong in the same universe. They tell the same stories written in different fonts. They have found kinship in our works. They both create fantastic landscapes and immersive spaces for transforming and transitioning creatures. They are both driven by hydrofeminism, ecosexuality and xenogender movements. They use those theories to transcend normative representations using colors and textures.
PROJECT "AND THE STANGNANT CHIMERAS WHISPERED"
"Those are the stories of an invisible people. Coming from another world, here they freeze and transform into an unknown forest. They whisper their pasts as to remember their stories. They tell you their dreams without knowing what is real and what isn’t. They are young, yet incredibly old for this planet. Listen to what they have to say, you may learn things about yourself. They talk about creatures older than our world. Their words transform you. Some of you will change their skin, becoming thick, smooth, hairless, getting ready to find warmth in others and to travel in the cold waters. Some will grow a hard shell, multiple thin legs, and will hide in the shadowy depths. Others will watch their backs open, letting neon color wings unfold or spikes grow out of their spine. You are slowly becoming the new ancient creatures, carriers of memories, inhabitants of the forest at the end/edge of the world."
