Bitter sweet farewell to some of my art works

As part of my upcoming exhibition, I decided to include a series of seating prototypes I have been working on lately.
The brief was to create a functional, modern and minimalist design, whilst being constrained to only the waste material available to me from offcuts discarded from other pieces built prior at @studioblank.blank
It's been a great winter project and forced me to dive deeper into what makes a good piece of furniture. As once you sit in a badly made chair, you instantly know!
A lot of thinking, re-thinking, change this, remake that.. It's been an exploratory journey in my little makeshift backyard workshop over the last few months. And a far cry from my other visual art that will be on display alongside these works.

Four friends come together to share some art. ‘Merge’ will run from 29/09 - 06/10 and will take place at @_easymark_ in Collingwood.
‘Opening’ night is Saturday October 4th from 6-9PM. Everyone is invited; bring a mate. There will be merch and prints available on the night, as well as free drinks.
