Our last episode that will be released of LOCAL features @theorangepictureclub a local community cinema formed by a group of friends that want to share their love for cinema with everyone they can. From family favourites everyone would have seen to world cinema that everyone should see.

The third episode of LOCAL will feature Mariana Brown landlady of @bricklayersarmsluton and owner of @brownbooksluton
We spoke to her about the challenges of running both the pub and the bookshop and how she uses both to engage with the local community making them both a space for people to come together and enjoy.

First previews of Vol 1 of our Somethink Different programme. It's been unreal working with 75+ young people in Luton, all of them amazingly talented.
Like many programmes of it's kind, it highlights the importance of investing in music, culture and access. But also, more importantly, it's shown that trust is needed to be built with young people. They're point of access is shrinking and being able to take them into the industry, hire out studios and see the impact it has on delivering what they asked for has been transformational for us.
So many highlights across 56 weeks we managed to get:
12 x songs recorded in the Jamrock Studios some of which by young people who have never had access to music lessons or equipment
36 young people live and direct in the @bbc1xtra studio all the way from Luton
10 young people put on a show at @the_castle_live in Luton with 95 young people in attendance
75+ attending Luton Librar to understand the eco-system of putting on live shows
I've got loads of footage I'll be sharing over the next few looks which I'm excited about

Our second episode of LOCAL will feature @tarrantulatattoo a stained glass and tattoo artist. We caught up with her to talk about her journey becoming a full time artist and her experiences with the creative communities she's involved with.

We've been quiet but we've been working hard. The first episode of LOCAL featuring Greg Owen, owner of Monstera Canteen. Sadly during filming Greg had to make the difficult decision to close the canteen, but we still wanted to share his story and love for the community with you.
Episodes will begin releasing over the next few weeks with the announcement of who else we've spoken with over the next few days.

Was debating dropping this song as it’s a lil deep but at the end of the day that’s why I do this music thing. Tryna capture feelings into sounds from the verses to the beats and ofc the adlibs of me shouting random noises in the space between the two 😭
