What an utterly marvellous morning!
Cars & Chai Vol 4 was a surreal experience for us at Drive Collective. We love bringing together the automotive community and lord almighty did this amazing community come out in style!
People from around the UK from Dundee to Dorset we welcomed over 120 cars of all variants it was pretty incredible.
Morgan 3 Wheeler, Carrera GT, Diablos, a Lifted Hummer, a Mitsubishi Starion, a very dirty Dakar - we could go on and on but honestly we haven’t seen anything like this. It’s what we love about cars and the community, the variety and the most importantly the good people who bring them.
A special thanks goes to @cha_tea_uk our partners in crime for this wonderful event. Parina who runs it has a wonderful setup and it’s a great family owned company. Day 4 of Super Turismo, Après Ski anchored us in our stunning hotel in Passo Sella. From here, we traced our unforgettable route through a series of epic mountain passes, including the legendary Giau Pass. Honestly this was probably one of the best passes we did of the trip. This was because of a combination of some tight switchbacks with the backdrop of the Doli peaks, wow! We had to take an early lunch just to take a moment to reconvene and assimilate the roads we had done. Every corner revealed a new postcard view. We also took on the elegant turns of Passo Pordoi, which offered a smooth, flowing contrast to Giau’s raw, technical terrain.
The roads were an incredible blend of challenge and beauty, our dream! Along the way, we stumbled upon a gaggle of Lamborghini Countachs. Obviously they were gaining some much needed attention. It was quite nice as we went by unnoticed to enjoy the rest of the passes.
A real standout moment? The AMG GTR crackling and spitting fire on downshifts, echoing off the rock faces. It was mechanical poetry—raw, visceral, and impossible to ignore.
But the highlight of the day came later. Just as golden hour settled in and the sun dipped low over the ridgelines, our hotel owners led us on an evening drive that felt almost cinematic. The light was perfect, bathing the landscape in warm gold. The cars came alive, their engines singing in harmony with the fading day.
A perfect end to a perfect day.

We had a bit of a break in Lisbon so we thought we may as well take the opportunity to bring the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and the Ferrari 16 M together.
Both lightweight superstars from the most iconic car brands. It’s been a pleasure to have our rear view mirrors painted by these two beauties. So much soul and passion and an engine note to die for!

This was my first time at JZM Porsche and what a great place. With Drive collective bringing their wide range of cars, making this first time visit was very pleasing.

Some mornings are just better with a bunch of Porsches — and some utterly ridiculous Lamborghinis. Nothing wakes you up quite like it.
This weekend we paid a visit to our friends at JZM for another volume of IGNITION. Russ and the team took us around their showroom, which had some immaculate cars on display.
Personal favourites of the morning were the Clubsport 996 GT2 with leather buckets — @olivershull was quite keen to buy it there and then — a fabulous manual Gallardo Spyder, and an ex-DC B5 RS4 that needed no introduction.
We had a proper nose around too; a wander through the workshop and a look inside the detailing bay, where the standards are exactly what you’d expect from JZM.
As always, the real highlight was the company. New faces and familiar ones, and conversation that barely left cars for a second — Anglesey and Super Turismo dominating the morning’s chat as members start planning ahead for both.

Duke of London, 2026 - the new chapter.
Last week we had an exclusive opportunity to get an early tour of the new DoL facility before anyone else!
The team behind the brand have been working effortlessly for the past two years, spear headed by our good friend Merlin. Their venue has served as an unofficial home for Drive Collective.
It’s pretty amazing what they’ve created, DoL stands as core entity in the car community often being a solstice in London for us petrolheads. This new venue takes it to a WHOLE new level.
We can’t wait to host more events and attend more at this wicked new venue.
We are back at JZM Porsche for ‘IGNITION’. This event gives our members an opportunity to explore some of the finest UK independents. Our friends at JZM open the doors and allow our members to see the inner workings of their facility, check out new stock, chat market and cars for sale and sometimes even buy a car or two!
Our members love events like this as it also gives us the opportunity to check out each others cars. We generally reserves spots for our members, however we have a few spots for enthusiasts.
