Luca was unambiguous in his vision for this shot. It needed to be a kinetic milestone during the grand finale of the film - he wanted something ambitious and never seen before: the audience becomes the ball, getting smashed around the court at 100+ MPH… NO PRESSURE AT ALL, its just the climax of the movie!! Thankfully I had in my corner the amazing artists @zero_vfx to lean on! 🎾👀🎾👀. More cool shot breakdowns later!
Yes, I can VFX supervise amazing shows like Widow’s Bay, but no, I cannot seem to pose for a decent picture. That’s the job of my favorite youngest daughter!
