the coziest sunday 🤎
my first public debut- what an honor to be included in something so special. im still in disbelief, i had so much fun & i feel so proud of myself. i wish i could re-live it all over again.
@cozycampos one word- gratitude. ty for opening doors into spaces that i once dreamt of being in.
@staybryght ty for capturing the day, we luv staybryght!
@djbrimarie ty for gracing me with your presence- on international women’s day too? sheesh!
@parterredallas@wipeur.ash ty for having me in your space. the sweetest staff, the coziest aesthetics, & the yummiest matcha & lattes. i’d come back any day if you’ll have me.
& finally- ty to my loved ones. for always showing up for me & never missing a beat.
what’s next? tbh idk yet. i do know what’s meant for me won’t miss me. i know as long as i move with my heart & my faith the rest will happen by design. more to come. 🤞🏼
the pink boiler room 🎧🩷
a night filled with love, laughs, & intimacy.
good food, good drinks, good energy, some of my favorite songs & some of my favorite people.
i’ve never hosted a party for my birthday before- this will be something i remember forever. to be loved is to be understood, thought of & cared for.
thank you to my village- who continues to show up for me, support me, & empower me.
special thank you to @seanwes6 for capturing the love & friendship that filled the room. im glad we crossed paths, thank you for seeing something in the kid!
DJing has been the most challenging & most rewarding thing i’ve ever built. i’ve learned so much on & off the board & i will only continue to keep spinning & growing. for months, i showed up- even imperfectly. i showed up through frustration, through feeling discouraged, through self-doubt, through grief, through rebuilding stability, through working 2 jobs, & somewhere along the lines things finally started to shift & align for me. im not perfect & nowhere near where i dream to be but im no longer “wanting to learn how to DJ” im living in my craft. Jay Clipp taught me that transitions matter- in music & in real life. there is no sync button that suddenly connects & make sense of everything for you. find your beat, match it, & drop on the 1.
first chapter down, a library’s worth to go.
next chapter - 02/— the pink boiler room. aquarius szn.
