Hey! I thought it might be a good moment to introduce myself, in case you are here and don’t really know who’s behind this screen. Hola and welcome 🤗 my name is Débora, I’m originally from a small town in Córdoba, Argentina. I graduated in 2017 as an Industrial Designer, but my work has always been more connected to graphic design and illustration. I’ve lived in the USA, New Zealand, Australia, and now I’m based in Germany. Each place has definitely shaped the way I am today 🖤 I’ve been drawn to art since I was a kid, as my mom was an art teacher, so yes, she’s definitely the guilty one, haha. I’m obsessed with cinema and series, that’s probably my biggest source of inspiration. I especially love films with strong aesthetics and characters, like those by Wes Anderson, Hayao Miyazaki, or Guillermo del Toro. I’ve also been reading a lot of Mariana Enriquez this past year! As for my art style, I’m still letting it evolve, but it usually revolves around female characters, cats, a lot of pink, and themes of vulnerability or feminism.
