Heading in land to the desert from Dubai for a different perspective. A lone tree (shhh there is more out of frame) sits within the sand dunes. Shot on the Fujifilm X-H2 and edited with Capture One. #dubai #desert #fujifilmxh2 #captureone
The Burj Khalifa transitioning from daytime to blue hour. Edited solely in Capture One and shot with the Fuji X-H2. #burjkhalifadubai #fujifilmxh2 #cityscape #nightscape
Shooting with @paulreiffer last week in the UAE at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. The purpose built reflection pool adds a certain “extra” element. Shot with the Fuji X-H2 at 2 minute exposure time on the excellent 8-16mm and the rather huge but effective LEE filter system. Edited solely in captureone. #abudhabi #sheikhzayedgrandmosque #leefilters #fujixh2 #fujifilm #captureone
The wonderful geology of Reynisfjara beach in Iceland. Sadly, you still see many tourists ignoring the warnings of “sneaker waves” that can potentially, and quickly pull you out to sea. #basalt #geology #blackandwhite #reynisfjara
Jökulsárlón lagoon where chunks of the Breiõamerkurjökull glacier break off and make their way out to sea. Do you prefer colour or black and white? The blue tones come from heavily compressed ice. The black, volcanic ash. #captureone #fujifilm #jokulsarlon #iceland
Where lava meets the road in #grindavík. From 2023 - 2025 there has been a series of volcanic eruptions on the #reykjanes peninsular. This has unfortunately had a lasting impact on the town of Grindavik. Many have left and not returned.
#hveradalir Geothermic area. Not one of the most travelled (compared to Geysir for example) but in many ways a better experience. No gift shop and coaches. ;). There was also free mud pools you could bathe in. #captureone #ıphone16
