Join us on Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 PM at the New School in New York City for the Publishing Triangle Awards, celebrating LGBGTQ+ literature! Winners in ten competitive categories will be announced Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:30 PM during an in-person ceremony at The New School (66 West 12th Street, New York City). The ceremony will be hosted by poet and activist Emanuel Xavier, livestreamed online, and followed by a reception. Special awards go to Chrystos (the Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement), Amy Scholder (the Michele Karlsberg Leadership Award), Mariah Rigg (the Betty Berzon Emerging Writers Award), and TOSOS theater company (the Torchbearers Award). Hello, New York friends looking to join the No Kings protest tomorrow! We can meet up at the main entrance to Carnegie Hall at 2 PM. Probably everyone in New York will have the same idea, and probably our cell phones will be overwhelmed with everyone’s usage, but let's try. And the good thing is, if you get lost, you can go up to anyone and ask, “How do I get to Carnegie Hall?”
