Amazing things happen when people come together for a great cause!

A night of Excellence!
Community leaders from across Connecticut were celebrated Sunday as ConnCORP hosted its first-ever Community Appreciation Awards in Hamden, recognizing a dozen individuals for their dedication and community unity.
ConnCORP Community Liaison Daniel Hunt was also honored during the event. Hunt became emotional after being recognized by his peers, who acknowledged his advocacy for stronger communities across the state.
I already had a lot of people in mind, because I’ve watched the work they do in this community—here in New Haven, but also in Hartford, Bloomfield, and beyond,” Hunt said. “We just want to continue to inspire our younger people, so they can be like them—like state representatives, directors, police officers. We have a police officer who was honored. He’s from New Haven, and he grew up in neighborhoods just like the ones these kids come from.”
Congratulations to all the Honorees 👏🏾👏🏾
