A man of many things, many talents, many nicknames, and many loved ones. Some knew him as Scooter, or Squid, or Lucious Lew, or simply Lew Berry. To me, he will always be Dad. And he was the best dad I could have ever asked for in this life.
To everyone who made it to the memorial service, both in person and in spirit, and to everyone who reached out in the past weeks—thank you, each and every one of you.
There’s so much more I have to say to you. I don’t know how long it will take me to get all of those words out into the world. Even just getting this far has been a challenge I never anticipated. I hope it’s ok to call this part 1 of many. I love you Dad. Until next time.
