Designing for authors and creators means understanding the heart of the project. For the Sip. Snack. Thrive. project, my goal was to create a visual ecosystem that feels premium, professional, and consistent across every touchpoint.
We handled the cover, interior design, launch flyer, and even refined the cover and interior design of the free book.
Here’s how we brought this project to life:
1. Cohesion: Every element, the book covers, bundle flyers, and event graphics, feels like one unified family.
2. Clarity: Layouts designed to make key benefits and recipe details easy to digest at a glance.
3. Impact: Bold typography and fresh, vibrant imagery to grab attention on a busy social media feed.
At CoverCraft Publishing, we don’t just design covers; we handle everything your book needs to shine, from design to launch materials and beyond.
Got a project that needs to stand out? Let’s bring your idea to life. DM for inquiries!
Thank youuuuu for trusting us with your project. @menucuisineandsips

When I started CoverCraft Studio on April 4, 2025, the goal was simple: offer exceptional book cover design and, within five years, expand into full-scale publishing. By the grace of God, what we planned for five years was achieved in just eight months.
Today, CoverCraft Studio has grown into CoverCraft Publishing. We offer a full suite of services to support authors at every stage:
1. Book cover design
2. Editing
3. Formatting
4. Book Interior design
5. Proofreading
6. Book launch flyers
7. Book launch strategy consultation
And this is just the beginning. Our vision is to expand into book project consultancy, marketing, and printing, building a full-fledged publishing brand from the ground up.
Our mission remains clear: to make publishing simple for first-time authors and seamless for established writers, all done the CoverCraft way.

“Writing is like running a shop: if it’s always closed, nobody knows what you have or connects with your value. But when you open it, even if it’s not perfect, people begin to notice.”
This line from my recent interview with Delight Chisom Obialor stayed with me.
Because writing isn’t just about perfection, it’s about presence.
Too many writers are waiting for the “perfect time,” “perfect idea,” or “perfect confidence” before they show up.
But growth doesn’t happen in hiding.
It happens when you open your shop.

I searched my name on Google today and I found something.
A Selar link to the first book I ever published.
Not the first I wrote but the first I put out into the world.
It wasn’t edited.
It wasn’t proofread.
I simply wrote the way I speak and published it.
That was 2023.
Then I saw the book I wrote in 2024.
Then the one from 2025.
And I saw growth.
Clear, undeniable growth.
It reminded me of something important:
Your first book doesn’t have to be perfect.
It just has to exist.
Start. Write. Publish. Improve.
I thought to share this before we continue our series tomorrow.

There are two major types of book launches: physical and virtual. There’s also a hybrid launch, where some guests attend in person while others join online.
Which type you choose depends on two key factors: your goal and your budget.
Yesterday, we discussed the importance of having a goal. Today, let’s make it practical.
Example:
Mrs. A wants to launch her book, and her goal is to position herself as an expert in her field. However, she’s on a tight budget.
For Mrs. A, a physical book launch isn’t realistic because the biggest tool needed, money, is limited.
It’s better to have a well-planned virtual book launch than a poorly executed physical launch.
And since her goal is to build authority, an online launch works even better, it allows for maximum visibility and positions her as a credible expert in her field.
Your launch should match your goal and resources. Don’t stretch yourself to do something unrealistic. A smart, strategic launch, physical, virtual, or hybrid, will always be more effective than a showy launch that isn’t well-planned.
Tomorrow, we’ll discuss how to plan your virtual launch step by step, so you can make the most impact with what you have.
Happy New Month.
Follow to know when it drops.
Repost so someone who needs this guidance can see it.

This isn’t just another cookbook. It’s for students; busy, ambitious, and sometimes juggling too much but it needed to show that healthy, vibrant, and approachable cooking is possible, even on a student budget.
My goal was simple: create a design that’s functional, aspirational, and culturally relevant.
Every element was intentional:
Fresh green tones to signal health, vitality, and freshness because student food can be nutritious and exciting.
Bold, clean typography to make recipes easy to scan and navigate, while giving the book a modern, academic feel.
Meal planner & clear recipe hierarchy to help students save time, plan meals, and cook efficiently.
Flat lay photography & ingredient storytelling to make cooking approachable, shareable, and authentic, featuring Nigerian staples like yam, Amala, and Ewedu.
Nothing was random. Every color, layout choice, and photo was designed to communicate, evoke emotion, and make the cooking experience inviting and fun.
A cookbook isn’t just about recipes, it’s about making students pause, feel inspired, and believe that great food is possible in their own kitchen.

100 words today. 200 words tomorrow.
Before you know it, in just four months, you could have a full book, if you stay consistent.
Remember, little drops of water make a mighty ocean. Don’t underestimate small efforts; if all you can do today is write a little, do it anyway.
Write that book. Write it anyway.
Happy Friday!
