HAPPY NEW YEAR TO Y'ALL!! 'Twas a night of excruciatingly mindless (but responsible) fun and excitement!
There nothing like a few bands, with each having a long set of songs to play, to fill the night up with music and (sprakenheit) delight! We enjoyed so much that we even asked #RedHandedKid to play a second set because one set just isn't enough, especially if they're preparing for their EP launch (this February 10, 2018 at Mow's)! Everything went well beyond our expectations and we thank those who attended and opened the year with us!

Last August 16, we delivered the proceeds of the gig to Golden Gays Manila. The lolas live in a very small apartment in San Luis St., Pasay. We met some of the fabulous residents (Mother Leony, Al, Rey, Rica, Mon) and heard their stories.
Currently, most of the 25 regular members of Golden Gays Manila work as sidewalk vendors and street sweepers to provide for their everyday expenses. A few donors help them with their basic needs.
Ultimately, the lolas aim to raise funds for them to afford to transfer to a bigger place. They also hope to get off the streets and start their own livelihood.
Every little help will get the Golden Gays closer to their dream. To send your support, please get in touch with them directly through their FB page. Salamat. (/goldengaysmanila)
