February 2025 I picked up my first dj deck and I set a goal for myself. I wanted to play live, in public before the end of the year. Little did I know, I would encounter the most supportive, inclusive, and talented community I have had the pleasure of being a part of.
From opening at Tabor Dance, to throwing my own boat parties on the Willamette and Columbia rivers, playing at Halloweentown, and performing on some of the best stages in the PNW, this year has far exceeded what I thought was possible for myself.
I am especially grateful for the amazing people involved with Amryta Collective who welcomed me with open arms and inspired me to elevate my craft far beyond what I knew.

My best friend Matt introduced me to electronic shows and I want to share the joy and excitement that I experienced
Who/What inspires you to DJ today?
Honestly, the incredibly supportive community I have found here in Portland. I was so nervous to get out but I have always felt welcomed and encouraged

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I love baking bread, especially focaccia
What’s one piece of gear or tech you can’t live without? Does not have to be related to music.

I love conceptual albums and sets, so to be able to put together a handful of experiences like tgat would be so much fun
Any key moments you experienced in your musical journey?
I have lived in Portland for over 10 years, and to discover so many new venues and dance locations based around the DJ community has been so eye-opening

This was so hard for me.
1 year ago today, I found a post online about "open decks". I had never been to Triple Nickel Pub, I had never played in front of anyone, I had never met any of the people in the room before.
After much deliberation, and a loving nudge from my wife, I decided to scope out the situation.
After sufficient liquid courage, and Lisa's (@intoitmusic ) welcoming personality, I pulled the trigger, plugged my USB, and hit play.
My nerves lasted all of 2 songs before I stepped down. I can barely remember those fleeting moments while I was up there, but I will never forget the exhilaration of playing in front of a crowd (even a small one).

We cleared out the tables for a high-energy dance party last weekend at The Barrel Room! 2/21 Immersion Collective hosted Primal DnB for an event to benefit the Oregon Humane society.
Giving back to the community while blasting drum and bass is what it's all about!
The PDX Flowmies joined us for weekend 2 at Wonderlove for the Wonderlights party in celebration of the Portland Winter Lights Festival!
Classic chilly, rainy weather rolled in for this February in the PNW, but we all stayed warm, dry and happy thanks to Wonderlove's new enclosure.
We cannot begin to express the amount of love and gratitude we have for the community out here. Being surrounded by overwhelmingly kind, accepting people is what this is all about. 🫶
