this storytelling verse never gets old. my first ever punjabi writing from 2019, and somehow it still hits the same everytime i perform it. big love to @subodh_whateverthesurnameis for capturing the raw emotion of this moment perfectly. this was from the Ghich Pich cypher we organized last year around the release of Ghich Pich by @barsaati_films - a cypher built around themes of father-son relationships, dreams, and the internal battles we all carry.

june 21, 2020 - march 18, 2026. the 16 releases that are on streaming. from being locked inside during covid and trying to find freedom in it, from raw youtube songs and videos to stepping onto streaming platforms with ‘Maidaan’ in june 2020, to then disappearing from the world in may 2021. moving to canada, then coming back, saving myself, building my second life, taking my time, and in december 2023 with ‘salt fence’, making the decision to pursue music full time with no plan B, then going to the @lehar_themovement cyphers. becoming brothers with @harshit.music_ , genuinely the best sound engineer in the country hands down, and ever since may 2024, from ‘asai’ (with @harrisonalex_music ) to ‘ajooni saibhang’, building 10 of these releases together. creating visuals with @taralpadarth ever since ‘asai’, experimenting, pushing, stepping everything up together, we day 1s. meeting @subodh_whateverthesurnameis at the cyphers, him becoming a part of our creative family, and becoming a primary subject for his documentaries. having a song on the @massappealindia X @lehar_themovement with @da_mirrorrr . then having @revistingart come into the fraternity and taking it to another level for ‘the first dance’ music video, and then doing it all together with even more people on board for ‘ajooni saibhang’. this is all god’s work and orchestration in my eyes. i believe everything happens for a reason, i believe there are no coincidences, i believe all of this is a manifestation of listening to your highest truth, not that i am able to do it all the time, but that is always the intention. a journey like this is unpredictable, but now i find freedom in the unknown. to the stars be the glory. and thank you to nature for letting me do this, for letting me be a part of its plan. god bless all of us.
