Frank de Groodt è attivo dai primi anni ’90 e ha attraversato l’electro e la techno con progetti come Random XS, The Operator, The Optic Crux, Pensive of a State of Mind e lo stesso Fastgraph. Come scrive Andrea Benedetti, il suo percorso arriva a toccare uno dei miti fondativi dell’electro: l’universo Drexciya, attraverso il progetto Ultradyne. Il suono è quello: electro scura, distopica, senza compromessi. LAMBRATECH x NAMA April 10, 2026 — Milan For over a decade, in the margins of Lambrate, a different path has been taking shape where electro, bass, ghetto and break remain living languages. This night, that line meets one of its origins. For the first time live in Milan: FASTGRAPH aka Dutch producer Frank de Groodt. As Andrea Benedetti recalls: “Fastgraph is only one of the projects that made Frank de Groodt a reference in electro and techno since the ’90s… with aliases like Random XS, The Operator and The Optic Crux on Djax-Up-Beats and Sonar Base. As Fastgraph he released on Monoplaza (ADULT.) and Klakson (Steffi’s label).” But his path also touches one of electro’s founding myths: “More recently he became part of Ultradyne with Dennis Richardson, connected to Drexciya through Elektroids on Warp.” A circle closes.
