Anchored in biblical justice, lived experience, and safeguarding research, this book explores sexual exploitation, trafficking, and the silence that allows harm to continue. This is for the survivors, the activists, the educators, the pastors, the government, and you! We ALL have a responsibility to speak up for the voiceless and ensure justice is served. We cannot continue to ignore this call. I hope it informs our practices, strengthens our ability to support the vulnerable, and encourages reform for ALL women and girls. As I submit myself to him, he continues to show me wonderdous things🙏🏾 I love you ♥️

I’m watching this back and have nothing more to say than “thankyou Jesus”😭 it could ONLY be Him! I was numb, broken, depressed and lost, and found “comfort” in the things of this world. I simply shouldn’t be here. Countless suicide attempts, domestic abuse, trafficked, exploited and near death experiences BUT GOD😭 He didn’t just snatch me out of the darkness but he preserved my mind, preserved my peace and preserved my heart🤍 05.06.2019 is the day I gave God my “yes”. Do not let this 90 seconds fool you, this did not happen over night. I am not perfect I still fall, but His grace is sufficient for me and His strength is made perfect in my weakness. The biggest myth is that you must give up sin before you come to Christ. I remember telling God that I’ll serve him but I won’t give up the life that I had, 4 years later I can tell you that I no longer live that life. He never forced me, I just made room for him to move in and through me🤍 Don’t wait to come away from the clubbing, smoking, sex, drinking, lying, stealing or whatever it may be. Just give him your “yes” and watch him do the rest🫶🏽

I am so thankful to God for preserving your life and placing you so beautifully into mine . Lord I thankyou for your grace and tender mercies towards us. You bring so much laughter, joy and peace. I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted to join @unwomenuk as a digital participant at CSW70 🤍 This year’s theme is access to justice for all women and girls, and the timing could not be more important. Access to justice is not unfamiliar to me. As both an advocate and a survivor of sexual exploitation and trafficking, I have seen firsthand the realities that many women and girls face across the world. Through my lived, professional, and academic experience, I have sat with the difficult truth of the gap between what is written in law and theory, and what actually happens in practice. CSW70 speaks directly to the everyday realities of women and girls, asking whose rights are protected, whose voices are heard, and what must change for women to live safely and equally. I’m honoured not only to learn, but to contribute to justice-centred action that truly centres the lives of women and girls.
