My attempt at a linocut homage was fun to work on and a good learning experience, even if the final result isn't quite as pleasing as I'd hoped - a multi-block solution was probably required.

Delighted to be commissioned by @over_stepping to make this linocut depicting Guirdil bothy on the Isle of Rum. Juls has stayed in every bothy the MBA look after in Britain, so was very happy to make this print of one of her favourites.
Overall I'm very happy with how it came out! (the tree is a bit of creative license to draw the eye - the island is really too windswept for that... 😂)
