A year ago, this was just a vision. An idea God planted within me that I truly didn’t think I was capable of doing. Most of my life I defined myself as quiet and reserved never really walking in my true calling to be bolder and myself.
That girl is gone, the more I grow within my walk with Christ the more I realize how I defined myself was never how God viewed me. I said I was quiet he said “you got a voice” you’ve just been too timid to share it. One of my focus scriptures for the event was 2 Timothy 1:7 - no longer walking with a timid mentality but rather with the spirit God gave us to be more confident.
In Her Bag a Creativity For Christ design series where we express our creativity in the lenses of Christ. Allowing ourselves to express who God is really creating us to be. Volume 1 was just the beginning, I’m so grateful to see so many woman come out to be able to express their creativity, build community and glorify Christ. I can’t wait to see how God continues to build this series out and to continue to build community in this space.
To every girl who may feel like they don’t have a purpose or a calling within this life just know you do, don’t allow your fears stop you from expressing the gifts God planted within you. Continue to walk with him and he will reveal the plan every step of the way, you just gotta say Yes 🤍
