Here’s some more of the mural I painted recently for @remodentallab ,it was painted onto a textured blockwork wall and spanned across two spaces. The mural was designed to uplift their workspace provide a cool place for teeth stuff training. One of my ‘work’ goals for 2024 is to spend more time working on mural projects... right back to my uni days I’ve always really loved working in big colour! Being asked by a client to create a mural to transform their space is SUCH a cool thing but also pretty nerve-wracking because it’s really important to get it right and transform the space the way they imagine. My first mural of 2024 was created for the super cool @remodentallab in Hartlebury, these guys wanted a mural to showcase a space for clients and to create an inspiring training centre. The brief was ace... capture our vibe and go bold. This mural started out as a collage, I luuuurve cut out shapes and layered pattern and this just felt like the right way to go for this project. It’s opening week for @gandiesuk ! ☕️🥐 From drawings to lighting and tiling to décor, Gandies is almost ready to open its doors. Before the grand reveal, we wanted to bring you along for a little behind-the-scenes look at this space we’ve had the honour of designing. Created as a cosy community brunch spot and social hub, Gandies is for catch-ups, coffee breaks, and everything in between. With a locally sourced menu and a delicious brunch offering served seven days a week, it’s a space made for slow mornings and easy afternoons, ideally located just outside of Kempsey’s village centre. It’s warm, comforting and full of natural light, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, glowing feature lighting, colourful murals, and thoughtfully placed prints. I’ve been so excited to get this mural on the wall for @gandiesuk brand new brunch spot in Kempsey, Worcester. Love working with these guys… no micro management, no indecision… just pure trust! I’m really happy with how it’s turned out. A big shoutout to @fifiinteriors who created this dreamy interior. Their mood boards and colour scheme were eeeeeazy inspiration. As always massive huge thanks to @adambest9 for ALL the painting help and yummy sandwiches!

Our last session of 𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 this week involved bringing in some quirky items to then learn the basics of still-life. Exploring simple line work we made quick observations before adding shadows and highlights✍️🏼 Every course we do is different so even if you've been to Sketchbook Club before, you will have a new experience each time!
