CDSH SOLO PROJECT 2026  ⎹  8. & 9.5. **ticket link in bio This year, 11 dancers have developed short pieces that deal with very different topics under the theme »FLIP THE SHARK«. In nature orcas often flip sharks to leave them in a state of desorientation. This leaves the shark vulnerable to be eaten without resistance. When you’re at the beach someone probably has told you that if you ever see a shark the safest way to escape is flipping it. This encounter requires bravery to face the danger. But what if it shows up in your daily life, in school, at your work, or in your personal relationships? What are you going to do, will you give up or are you flipping the situation in your favor? The answer is clear… if you ever see a shark, make sure to flip it! 8.5. program a 6.30 pm / program b 8.30 pm 9.5. program b 6.30 pm / program a 8.30 pm (both with live stream) composition workshop: Jascha Viehstädt and Raymond Liew Jin Pin mentoring and realization: Raul Valdez and Marius Garric light workshop: Björn Salzer music editing & sound design workshop: Clàudia Parés dramaturgy workshop: Matthias Quabbe logistics and production: Javier Báez and Sina Rundel tickets: pre-sales 18 €* ⎹ box-office 22 €* ⎹ live stream 5 € *Admission for both programs on any date

27., 28.2 & 1.3. WORK IN PROGRESS PERFORMANCES This year, our choreographic works come together under the theme “tilt”. What if here are no fixed or stable opposing poles, good/bad, right/wrong, this/that. What if opposites are not, they become, shift, tilt, collapse and are being (re-)established. They might lean toward and away from each other, arising only when we assert them. And we ourselves are contextualized, leaning from where we stand. We do everything just from our own point of view. It is relative how we define opposites and it depends on the circumstances and on our own relationship with the ground on which we stand. When the circumstances change, the relationship between us and the asserted poles or between the poles themselves changes and maybe the opposition even collapses completely. History doesn’t unfold like a straight road. It loops, fractures and contradicts itself. The axis is never fixed. Are we moving forward or backwards? It depends on the perspective and on who defines the standards. Profound social reconfigurations that have been fought for and brought forward in the past decade are co-present with conservative reactionary movements. Maybe we do both simultaneously, moving forward and backwards at the same time, leaning into and against each other. The topic “tilt” is an invitation to explore imbalance, tension, and relationality. It reminds us that movement, meaning, and identity are never upright or neutral, but always leaning toward or against something or someone else. “tilt” serves as a guiding theme and as inspiration for experimentation for all choreographers and dancers. Let’s meet at @sprechwerk_hamburg and see the works/ Choreographies by Javier Báez-Vélez, Yolanda Morales, Mihir Grover, Ursina Tossi, Pascal Schmidt & Ricardo Urbina (choreographic assistant) and Raul Valdez together with our dancers of all three academic years! The dancers in their third year of training will premiere their first final choreography by Pascal Schmidt. Tickets: pre-sale 13€/ 9€ and box office 16€/12€, life stream 5€ Venue: @sprechwerk_hamburg 27.2.| 8pm 28.2.| 8pm 1.3.| 6pm
