CATALYST PROJECT DEMANDS AN OAKLAND ARMS EMBARGO! SIGN THE PETITION: armsembargonow.com ENDORSE THE CAMPAIGN: armsembargonow.com/endorse As the genocide in Gaza rages on for two years now, Oakland has played an integral role in ensuring that it continues with ease. Since January 2025, Oakland has quietly sent at least 280 military cargo shipments to Israel carrying deadly F-35 fighter jet components. This genocide would not be possible without Oakland, and if we don’t stop this now, it will only get worse. We call on the City of Oakland, our elected officials, and the Port Authority to immediately cease all military cargo shipments from the Oakland Airport to Israel. We demand the city of Oakland continue its legacy of standing with struggles for justice, and end its complicity in genocide immediately. KILLER CARGO OUT OF OAK! OAKLAND, ARMS EMBARGO NOW!

We're releasing an updated version of "A Troublemakers' Guide: Principles for Activists & Organizers in the Face of Political Repression" 🔗 View the full guide for free: bit.ly/10Principles2025 (case sensitive) It is also available in the bio of @_catalystproject_ ✨ SHARE & USE THIS GUIDE! Please share this post far and wide, study the guide, and make a plan with your community of how you will respond to state repression. As the current regime unleashes its attacks on the left and so many of our communities, we need to fortify ourselves to resist the political repression we see intensifying by the day. It’s a moment that requires integrity and courage – and collectivity. One of the strongest ways for us to protect our movements and each other is to develop a strong culture of resistance based on solidarity and connection. In this spirit, we're releasing the updated guide to contribute to building a culture that will help us stay strong, resilient, and focused with our eyes on the world we are hungry for. History teaches us that political repression is aimed most violently at organizers and communities of color. We also know that white people have often had the least developed practices around security. We all have a responsibility to protect all our movements by strengthening our security practices. The storms are here and more are coming. 🔗 View the full guide for free: bit.ly/10Principles2025 (case sensitive) Graphics by Emily Terrana @starbelliedstitches ! Catalyst Project’s commitment to building up fierce, brave and accountable leaders has been a cornerstone of their work over the past quarter of a century. This #GivingTuesday, I'm asking you to support our ever-growing network of powerful leaders and invest in the future of our movements 🔗 bit.ly/SupportCatalystProject [Link in bio] As an Anne Braden Program Alum, I know firsthand the lasting impact that Catalyst Project has had on our movements and on anti-racist organizers around the country. Over their 25 years of operation, Catalyst Project has invested in the leadership of over 500 anti-racist white organizers from around Turtle Island and beyond; building up a cohort of powerful leaders ready and willing to tackle the generational struggles alongside organizers and movements of color for justice and liberation for all. Over the past 25 years, Catalyst alumni have organized alongside BIPOC movements in profound and lasting ways. Since 2018, participants in the Anne Braden Program have raised more than $1 million in grassroots donations to support BIPOC-led organizations in their home communities. Catalyst’s commitment to grassroots fundraising supports our movements’ ability to be flexible, durable and bound together in ways that have shifted our movement landscape for the long haul.  From the beginning Catalyst has advanced a culture that believes in the potential of white people to be powerful leaders in movements for racial and economic justice. For me, Catalyst Project’s commitment to the leadership of poor and working class white people has created endless portals of possibility. Being rooted in my shared stake in ending white supremacy as a working-class, Rust Belt queer woman means that I can show up to my local fights with integrity, authenticity and a vision that includes all of us in our struggles for collective liberation. This political moment we're in is calling for each of us to be brave, but also to hold onto one another to carry us through. Our strength is in our people. Our strength is in our audacity to believe in and organize for futures of collective liberation, and we must do that together. Support our movement building! ~Emily
