Finally getting around to sharing the fifth and final day of painting this Under The Sea Mural.
It was a dream brief and I enjoyed it so much which I think you can tell , it was so lovely to reference back to books that I used to read to the boys when they were little too. The little girl who was moving into this room, is obsessed with everything under the sea and her favourite books are, The Whale on the Snail, Don’t Worry Little Crab and Tiddler. She also loves the song an octopus garden by the Beatles. And her mum‘s favourite is the jellyfish so that had to be added in. I think k mailed the brief?
I’ve since been sent a video of her reaction when she saw it and it made me cry. I’m so happy I got to create this for her to grow up in. I think your childhood bedroom walls stay inside you forever and that feels like an absolute gift and honor to me that I’ve been trusted with creating those memories

I had the most action packed work weekend away in Ireland with my work wife Nicki @andthentheywentwild .
I can’t actually believe how much we managed to pack in in three days across two counties. Caught up with family had an amazing dinner at the @glasson_lakehouse where my brother got married. We took Nicki to the oldest pub in Ireland which obviously had great live music and singing. Did a couple of site visits to the most incredible space that will become @daoine_pilates new studio. We spent two days designing said space and OMG, wait till you see it! Make sure you’re following @_styledstory to see what we get up to. Then we manage to get down to see my family in Wexford had a beach walk and swim, had a lovely evening out with my sister and squeezed in Ash’s Pilates event on the beach this morning before heading to the airport

Styled Story has felt like a natural evolution for us. Every experience in our personal lives and careers to date have been stepping stones to this moment, and it feels like the universe is guiding us. We both know with all our hearts that we’re on the right path, and we have been manifesting our goals like crazy. We frequently share daily affirmation cards and we are obsessed with sending motivational posts from @golden.alchemist (who has inspired this post)
This might all sound a bit woo woo to you but we are owning it! And so, as the planets have aligned in such a rare way, it felt like the perfect day to go live with our new website, the full extended version will be coming soon.

Back to the progress of this Under The Sea mural I painted a few weeks ago
I think I was actually most in love with it by the end of Day 4, it might have been something to do with magical light that poured in to the room, created by the setting sun.

Perfect mix of hometime in Ireland with the boys, friends, family, work, exercise, good food and nature.
