What an epic surprise while yellowfin fishing! Lightest rod on the boat with 60lb leader, everything needed to go right to land this fish. My biggest bluefin to date, going 71” and landed in just over an hour solo! Huge thanks to Jim and James for always taking me out and putting me on the meat. This past week has been absolutely mental, more crazy posts to come!

Super fun trip down on Santee Cooper for the 2nd stop of the @bassmastercollege Lunkers Trail with @pennstatebassfishing . We may not be as competitive as some of the other teams, but we sure have a lot of fun on these trips and it’s a pleasure getting to represent Penn State. Looking forward to the final stop of the series on the James River in May!

Stoked on landing this beautiful 72” bluefin with my Dad. Biggest fish we have caught together! This fish did not come in without a battle, but we had the proper gear to make it happen. Definitely a day we won’t forget anytime soon!
What a start!
2025 season is officially ON—and we kicked it off with an absolute banger of a trip! After a winter that felt like forever, the wait was so worth it. Over 40 bluefins crushed everything we threw at them!
We put some @stacktackle lures to the test—both the Screwy Head and Mully got crushed. Really impressed seeing these lures stand up to tuna. The @bluewaterfishingtackle popper did very well, with most of the action came on poppers, giving us non-stop chaos.
Great crew and bite, couldn’t ask for a better way to kick off the season!
