A gap year & 4 special years later, I’m standing here🥹 and it is all by the grace of God🙌🏾❤️! I came here for a degree and I left here with more than I could ever ask for; an experience that has marked and changed me in more ways than one. Jesus you’ve been so good to me and to have accomplished this degree with an amazing grade, time in industry, time abroad and a community that money couldn’t buy, all I have to say is thank you Lord!! You taught me year on year what it means to sit at your feet and proclaim you in all that I do, despite life’s challenges, may that never end as I move into a new and exciting chapter🥹☺️. Funnily enough, God put it in my heart to write this song for someone very close to me last year, because at the time they were going through a season of “faith over fear”, though they had faith, it was easier said than done at times. Initially, I only wanted to make the song for them, because I knew I wouldn’t always know the right words to say, but I knew that God would use this song to encourage them. But as the song is being released today, that person is living in the testimony of God’s faithfulness, consistently travelling from country to country, managing different people and projects. So, I just want to remind you that God is faithful (2 Timothy 2:13) and even when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, I just want to encourage you to have faith, to lean on God’s word and to trust in His consistent nature. He will always work your situation out for your good and though He won’t answer the way that you want Him to, He will answer exactly when and how you need and it’ll be above what you could’ve imagined. & going into a new year of life, in a new country, with so many new blessings and challenges, I’m so grateful for this reminder. So have hope for tomorrow, and keep your faith in the God that can literally never fail, the One who is the same from age to age!
