QUICK STORY TIME!😆
I found breaking as a result of not gaining admission the first year I tried! I thought I had it all planned out, but God had other plans.
I anticipated starting this academic journey so bad, but to fill the void, I channeled my time to breaking. It came with its challenges, but I kept thinking, “I’ll be in school soon, and this will be just a memory”. Initially, I’ve always just loved to study and wanted to write good books for y’all☺️
Then, COVID-19 arrived, and lockdown happened. To stay occupied, I continued breaking, and before I knew it, I was hooked😭.
When I finally gained admission into LASU, I faced a new challenge: balancing school and dance. There were times when I had to train during exams because, I had battles in between. There were times I couldn’t even find time to train and it just didn’t feel right. (I got obsessed🤣)
Miraculously, in between all of these, I never had to rewrite a course or fail any in this journey. I’m super grateful God kept His promises to me and stood by me throughout🥹. Through the hard times, struggles and uncertainty, and days all I could do was pray. He constantly reassured me, He became my only solace and He saw me through. 🙇♀️
Today, I’m thankful to God, my family and everyone who contributed to my growth. I’m living proof that God’s plans are always bigger and better than ours! 🙇♀️
I’m even more grateful to have found this family
@ptccentre , at the exact moment I needed to be reminded that I have a purpose worth committing too!💅🏼
