Witch Ripperâs 'Through the Hourglass' pushes their sound into something larger than a typical album. Itâs a continuation â a narrative unfolding across records where the musicâs structure drives the story.
I spoke with the band about the concept behind the album, their collaborative writing process, and why they arenât afraid to let melody collide with heaviness.

Got a lot of cool stuff going on, but itâs been too long since I posted food, so hereâs some food.
1. Shells with tuna, cream sauce, breadcrumbs
2. Baked Mac and cheese, side salad
3. Chicken thigh, fennel, broccoli, mashed potatoes, pan sauce
4. Sardines, boiled egg, arugula, cucumber, tomato, on baguette
5. Very late Thanksgiving dinner - turkey, roasted veg, Brussels sprouts, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce
6. Leftover steak salad with cucumber and scallion (sorry no pics of prior steak dinner)
7. Braised brisket, latkes with crème fraiche and caviar
8. Latkes, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, crème fraiche, caviar
9. Leftover brisket sandwich with Swiss and greens
10. Gochujang chicken over rice
11. Penne with mascarpone, mushrooms, and peas
12. Grilled cheese with caramelized onions and sautĂŠed tomatoes
13. Mortadella, pesto, ricotta, arugula on focaccia
14. Fried âenchiladasâ with lettuce and crema
15. Herb mayonnaise rubbed roasted chicken, vegetables, side salad
