The Dutch Research Council (NWO) has awarded €8 million to the NANEXBAT consortium to accelerate the development of next-generation sodium-ion batteries. 🔋 🚀 At @_borlyte we contribute our expertise in advanced electrolyte materials to help unlock safer, more sustainable, and scalable battery technologies. Together with leading academic partners and industrial players across the Netherlands, we are working on materials innovation that moves beyond the lab towards real-world impact in mobility and energy systems. Das Schöne ist, wenn sich Kreise schließen. Über das BMX-Fahren habe ich meine Leidenschaft fürs Filmen entwickelt und am Skatepark viele interessante Leute kennengelernt – so auch Florenz. Nicht nur eine Maschine im Vertfahren, sondern auch ein Brain im Chemiebereich. Zusammen mit Valentin hat er @_borlyte gegründet, ein Start-up für nachhaltige Batterie-Elektrolyte. Vor ein paar Monaten kam er auf mich zu mit der Idee, Content für ihre Website zu erstellen. Also ging’s nach Amsterdam, wo die beiden ihr Labor haben. Dort haben wir Portraits für die „Über uns“-Seite gemacht und einen Grundstock an Foto- sowie Videomaterial gesammelt, der sich vielseitig einsetzen lässt – sei es für Social Media, die Website oder andere Formate. Im Vordergrund stand für‘s Erste ein Header-Video für die Startseite, das im Loop läuft und statt beliebigem Stock-Footage direkt einen persönlichen Eindruck vermittelt. Am Ende sind Shots entstanden, die für mich zu meinen All-Time-Top-5 gehören – und so habe ich es dann doch noch irgendwie an die Uni geschafft, auch wenn es über Umwege war. 🥸 Zeit für eine kurze Sightseeing Tour und ein paar iPhone Clips war dann btw auch noch.
