I’m incredibly proud and deeply grateful to have worked on this project alongside my daughter, Milo. Sharing this experience with her was truly special…watching her years of hard work, dedication, and love for dance come to life in such a fun experience was unforgettable. To see her surrounded by her friends, celebrating their talent and individuality, was a powerful reminder of how dance connects us all.
Dance is more than movement…it’s art, it’s voice, it’s language. It’s how we express who we are, how we feel, and how we see the world. I hope that through projects like this, my daughter and other dancers continue to see and feel the true essence of what dance is all about.
Thank you again for all the love and support…it means the world to us! // Filmed and edited by @jaredtyler.jpg // Directed by Milo’s Dad // choreographed by @taylortsvyetkov_choreo // Music by legendary Don Williams
WORKSHOP // I’m reaching out to you… the one who has wanted to experience my creative process and see the world through my eyes.
I’m getting ready to plan an immersive, full-day experience here in Payson Arizona this summer. A day to create together, explore, connect, and experience something truly special.
This isn’t just about photography. It’s about creativity, perspective, adventure, and creating moments you’ll never forget.
I’m only opening this up to 10 people.
This won’t be for everybody … but for the right people, it’s going to mean something.
Who’s in?
For me, it’s never been just about photography… it’s about the personal experiences and genuine connections I share with people living life in their own way.
Show less. Feel more.
That’s why I love shooting underexposed. When an image is darker, you notice the light so much more… you feel where it’s coming from.
Don’t be afraid to underexpose your photos. Trust the process. The viewer doesn’t need to see every detail to connect with the image.
Leave room for imagination.
A little flashback to 2018… Happy Mother’s Day, @paigechristensen .
The mother you were then, the mother you are today, and the mother you continue to become has been one of the greatest inspirations in my life. Thank you for leading our family with so much strength, love, and fun. You are the greatest example to our kids and to me… always and forever.
“Living My Own Western” was never meant to be just about me. I created it as a reminder that the world needs your perspective, your creativity, and your way of seeing life. No person, industry, or gatekeeper knows your story better than you do. Stop waiting for approval or permission to move forward. The direction is yours to choose, and the responsibility is yours to own.
Turns out not every kid is glued to a screen these days. Some are still out there doing hard things, getting after it, and putting in the work.

It’s easy to get lost in the details…the specs, the technical side, the production, the output. You can spend so much time focused on what you’re making that you forget why you’re making it. The bigger picture is connection. It’s the feeling something creates. That’s what matters. When I’m creatively directing a shoot or campaign, whether it’s a product, a brand, or a piece of music… I start with that. I want to understand how it feels to the people behind it, and then shape how it will feel to the people experiencing it.
For me, feeling is everything, and it doesn’t have to be loud. I’ve loved lever action rifles since I was a kid, not because of the specs, but because of how they made me feel. The sound, the motion, the presence, it was simple and personal. It wasn’t about what I was shooting, or even shooting at all. It was about the experience of holding it, imagining it, living with it. That’s what stays with people. Not the details…the feeling. // 🎥 by @jaredtyler.jpg
