Sometimes the hardest question to ask is the simplest:
Are you okay?
Today’s a reminder that you don’t need the perfect words or perfect timing to reach out. What matters is presence.
A check-in. A pause that says ‘you matter to me’.
Remember:
• You don’t need to have all the answers.
• You don’t need to “fix” anything.
• You just need to listen, care and remind someone they’re not alone.
Asking ‘Are you okay?’ isn’t about a single question - it’s about creating space for honesty, connection and hope.
In toughest moments the smallest act of kindness can feel like lifeline. A message, a phone call, even a smile can carry someone through more than we realise.

I want you to know:

• Your presence matters
• Reaching out is a sign of strength

Wowweeee you were a difficult year!
You brought me challenges, changes and lessons I didn’t know I needed.
You showed me that life could change at the blink of an eye. You taught me to have more trust and to believe in myself. But most importantly, you made it undeniably clear that my health, whether it be physical, emotional or mental, is what really matters.
You also taught me that not every question needs an immediate answer. Not every ending is a defeat.
That stillness is not always stagnation - sometimes it’s life creating space for something new.
You dragged me through truths I didn’t want to face and through loss I wasn’t ready to feel. You left me with wounds that haven’t closed and with fractures that still don’t make sense. You’ve left me with so much yet to be answered and highlighted the parts of me that most needed growth.
I realise now that maybe that’s the point - you didn’t arrive to fix me or redeem me. You came to strip away illusions.
To remind me life is unpredictable, relentless and brutally honest. But also of the gift I have, to choose how I navigate each moment, to show up for myself.
You didn’t come to rebuild me, you left me with the choice to rebuild myself. So thank you 2024 - you weren’t easy but you were necessary. 🙏
