Buona domenica amici. Lately many things have been shifting. I’m leaving my beloved student room to move into a more adult one that costs 3 lungs and 4 liters of virgin blood per month. I started to work with kids and I like it. For the rest, a lot has been growing in the shade , now it’s starting to take shape. Looking forward to letting you hear and see. Ciao Amici. For the past few days I’ve been avoiding my own house. On Friday night I went to bed and suddenly a smell of death went straight into my nose, coming from a specific corner of my room. The next day I started investigating. There’s a mysterious door in my room that had been nailed shut. I removed the nails and opened it, fully prepared to find something cadaverous. There was nothing. Just a wall of foam. The smell got stronger and I started thinking it might be coming from my new housemate’s room. I knocked on his door. No answer. I didn’t have his phone number yet. I spent the whole day wondering if something terrible had happened to him. Or worse, if he was some kind of Jeffrey Dahmer and I was in danger. Or even worse, if I was Jeffrey Dahmer and had done something horrible in my sleep. I got his number. He’s fine. He’s just on vacation. The terrible smell is still in my house. I moved the bed to the other side of the room and now I sleep wrapped as a bug and with my nose facing the open window. I think there’s a dead mouse somewhere.

Hey people of the net! Im excited to announce the 5th edition of Kino for your Ears. A listening series for the music makers and sound lovers of Amsterdam. Kino for your Ears takes place in the Ventilator Cinema on the second floor of the OT301. Although slightly hidden at first, its secret cafe space + cinema are a delight. The listening sessions are meant to be a space where both audience and performers can be open to dialogue and experimentation. Kino for you Ears is back in 2026 after a year long hiatus with amazing acts that will enthral and entrain you (I promise :3 ).
