This year has been incredibly challenging for all of us. Instead of leaning into frustration, I’ve adopted an old friends @daniel.alexander614 words, that happiness begins with a choice. I have chosen to be thankful. The thing that I am most thankful for is my amazing brother. He is my adventure buddy, the guy who helps me move heavy things, the guy who has taught me how to work on cars, carpentry master, music guide, learning to cook guinea pig and so much more. Today is always a hard day for my brother and I. We’ve had to celebrate our mother without sharing it with her for the last 9 years. But, because of her and the powerful and incredible woman that she became and the gentle but tough mother she was, I get to keep on spreading the joy that she fought to ensure was in my heart.
