bauhof’s connection to techno is rooted in the need for space — a space that creates distance from everyday life and allows full focus on music, energy and movement. For him, techno is about switching off the outside world and diving into a different state of mind, where passion and rhythm merge into one.
As a DJ, his goal is to create exactly that space on the dancefloor. His sets are built as continuous stories, designed to hold tension over time and invite the crowd to stay in motion — not through quick drops, but through long transitions, groove and control. What drives him is the exchange with a crowd that shares the same passion for the music, a dream he has been carrying since childhood.
He started DJing at a young age, teaching himself with nothing but a laptop and building his own mixtapes long before touching proper equipment. Early on, his focus was never on instant impact, but on structure, flow and long-form storytelling.
Through countless nights on the dancefloor and his residency at Klub PAN, bauhof found and shaped his sound: hypnotic, grooving techno built on tight low-end, rolling tension and subtle progression rather than fast drops.
Today, he continues that path as a resident at @weidendamm.hannover , staying true to his hypnotic and groove-driven approach while pushing it forward in a club-focused context.
