I’m JUST starting to feel like I’m recovering from PPD. My baby is 2.5, still nursing, & I am still the preferred parent right now.
- Having severe anxiety about being left at home with the baby is real.
- Being hungry 24/7 bc the baby’s always nursing is real.
- Having to choose whether to clean the house or try to sneak a shower while trying not to sleep when the baby sleeps is real.
No one warned me about the newborn stage 😅 or the infant stage lol
I feel like my hormones are still all over the place at times and its difficult to muster up the energy to get back to the things I really love. Self care has become more & more important to me. I’m thankful that my baby is older now. I’m thankful that school has given me a break. And I feel good getting back to wellness & business.
