Take a second to slow down with me. I feel the constant pressure to be moving all the time, the world I live in thrives off of urgency and likes on a bloody social post. I chose it, I love it, but it overwhelms me sometimes. If you feel the same, take yourself to a cabin in the sticks, make a fire, be present in the moment, turn your phone off, breathe. Just for a moment. The hungry machine will still need feeding when you’re back, but it’s not going anywhere. It’s important to remember sometimes that none of this really matters. At all. At the root of everything all we have is this planet, so just enjoy it. However enjoying it looks to you, do it. And if we can make other people’s time on this planet a more enjoyable time, then do it. Every single time 🫶

🚨 WE MADE A MOVIE Well, not literally, figuratively. These are some of my favourite screengrabs from the recent trailer I shot for the guys at Passionfruit. Context - We had this idea to make a movie trailer about marketing to use as business promo for their company. So we fully sent it. I wanted this to feel as dramatic and cinematic as possible, the end result? A piece of content I’m so so proud of. What started as a funny idea and a parody video ended up becoming some genuinely lovely visuals 😇 #movietrailer #parody #cinema #cinematography

Sometimes you’ve got to go on a 20km pub walk with your lifelong friends 🚶🏼‍♂️ 3 villages, 5 pubs, 20km I’ve known these boys for over 16 years now, we used to run in these fields all those years ago. Well, I walked, they ran. I haven’t been feeling very fulfilled lately, I’ve decided to start filming and documenting life again for me, on my terms, in a way I love and enjoy. Capturing days like this is what I’m going to look back on in years to come. Realistically that’s what it’s all about, none of the other bullshit, just moments in time you can reflect on and reminisce. It’s always something to show the kids, grandkids.

I ran out of time to make a 2025 recap/showreel. Sorry I thought I’d edit together something that felt EXACTLY how 2025 felt to me 😅 It was my first full year of freelancing and what a whirlwind it was. Immensely grateful for every single person who had an ounce of faith in me to hire / work with me. Thank you. I’m leaving 2025 with so much faith in myself and my abilities. So much drive and energy to absolutely smash 2026 out the park, with a clear vision on how I’m going to do it. To say I’m excited and motivated is an understatement. Never settle, keep learning, always aim higher. LFG :)
