For Eid al-Adha 2026 we are raising $1,300 to distribute Qurbani meat to approximately 50–75 socioeconomically disadvantaged families in and around Sylhet.
This mutual aid project by us, for us — goes directly to families who rely heavily on community resources to thrive.

Honored to share that our second Ramadan Mutual Aid distribution has been completed. These prepackaged kits have 6 essential food items. Including rice, lentils, oil, suger, salt, and milk. Beyond grateful to share that our Ramadan Mutual Aid fundraiser has officially closed — with your generosity we didn’t just meet our goal we exceeded it! Together we raised $1,357.
Each bag was approximately 33kg (73ibs) consisting of 15 essential items.
Your donations, shares, duas, and encouragement made this possible. Every dollar represents compassion, and community.
Because we surpassed our goal, instead of hosting one distribution, we will now be able to organize two distributions in Ramadan and an additional distribution for Eid inshaAllah. This is the power of collective giving.

Spending Ramadan in the motherland this year, and asking you all to contribute to this mutual aid project. I am slowly easeing back into the work that brings me joy and meaning. In the past few months I have relied heavily on community to help me recollect myself througb various forms of mutual aid efforts. There is 13 days left until the blessed month of Ramadan join myself and local organizers in feeding 25 impoverished families in Sylhet.
