I Just Needed You to Understand – A Zine About Grief
This zine is my attempt at navigating the knowns and unknowns of grief. 40 pages of over-edited photos, journal entries, and writings—all the results of my channeled anger, sadness, resentment, and confusion.
As much as this zine might feel heavy, putting it together was very healing, and I love reading through it :)
I’m not done grieving, and I’m not sure I ever want to be. As painful and overwhelming as it can be, it reminds me of how much I loved those I lost. And honestly, I’m more afraid of forgetting that love than I am of the grief itself.
