Most people think fat loss is just about “getting lean”. But there are different reasons to pursue it. A photoshoot transformation and sustainable fat loss are not the same thing. Last year I dropped to 10.6% body fat for a physique photoshoot. It required precision, structure and short-term intensity. But the goal was never to stay there. Sustainable fat loss looks different. It focuses on: • strength • health markers • hormone support • habits you can maintain Both approaches use the same tools. Training. Nutrition. Consistency. But the intent is different. One is about building a body that supports you for decades. The other is about reaching peak condition for a moment in time. They simply serve different purposes. The biggest mistake I see? Women training at home… with no real plan - and no real focus on their nutrition. They’re working hard… sweating… showing up… but their body isn’t changing. Why? Because results don’t come from workouts alone. If your training isn’t structured… and your nutrition isn’t aligned… you’ll stay stuck. ✔️ You can’t out-train poor nutrition ✔️ You can’t guess your way to results ✔️ And you definitely don’t need to do more - just better This is why so many women feel like they’re “doing everything”… but seeing nothing. Busy working women, mums…this one’s for you! Most women don’t fail at losing a dress size because they’re lazy… They fail because they’re doing the wrong things. ❌ Random YouTube workouts ❌ No structure or progression ❌ Doing “a bit of everything” but nothing consistently ❌ Guessing their food and hoping for the best So they start… stop… start again… and end up feeling frustrated and stuck. And as uncomfortable as that truth is… it’s also the most empowering thing you’ll ever realise. Because the moment you stop waiting for something outside of you to change your life…is the moment everything starts to change. I used to think I needed the right opportunity. The right timing. More confidence. More certainty. But none of that came first. What came first… was responsibility. Taking full ownership of where I was Even when life felt heavy. Even when I had every reason to stay where I was. I built my life as a single mum. No shortcuts. No guarantees. Just a vision… and a decision that I was going to figure it out.
