Out of the love of God (John 3:16), He sent his ONLY begotten son, Jesus Christ to earth to reconcile mankind back to himself after man SINNED and turned away from the very God that made them in His own image and likeness. But guess what?, the same people that Jesus came here for out of his LOVE for them, did not love him back. Sad? Maybe. But also because the will and plan of God had to be established. So this man Jesus came to earth, walked in absolute righteousness, as God in flesh. He performed a lot of signs and miracles because he had to prove to man that he carried the spirit of God in him, but also to set free those who were under oppression from the devil-his miracles had purpose. reeding the hungry and quenching thirst, as noted in the song reters to his nature ot being the utmost provider! Jesus is the absolute answer! This goes beyond just materialistic provision, but also spiritual ones as well. In there is peace, joy, comfort, freedom...a whole lot Chale. And then in the final moments, when he was hung on the cross, for sins he did not commit -but you and I did—he made a prayer to the father on our behalf. He interceded for us that the Father should have mercy on the people for hating and rejecting him because they did not know what they were doing, they had been blinded by sin. That same prayer lives on even till date, it is still fighting and Interceding for whoever is going through a tough time with sin. Jesus has made an intercessory prayer for you. Imagine begging on behalf of the people you came to die for, who happened to be the very ones that killed you by nailing you to a cross—which is considered an act of shame. Yes, Jesus did that, only because he wanted to save you and I from eternal condemnation in hell. He cried out with his final breadth, IT IS FINISHED. It is finished because death had been defeated, sin had been defeated, price for our sins had been paid for, IN FULL. Our salvation was at hand, redemption had been competed, a done deal if you may.
